Mini Dance Camps 2009
Schedule is subject to changes. Advance registration is required. Call or e-mail the Dance Center for registration information.
Discover Dance Camp – This is a fun camp for children to enjoy a combination of ballet, tap, tumbling and creative movement. They will have the opportunity to be creative, learn basic dance steps and have fun! They will also enjoy fun craft activities and musicality dance games. Students are expected to bring a healthy snack and wear comfortable attire to dance in.
Ballet shoes are preferred but if not available they may dance in slipper socks.

Stars of Broadway Camp
Dancers ages 7 – 12 will explore musical theater styles of dance. There will be daily craft projects creating props, scenery and costumes. Theatrical make up and audition tips will also be studied. The camp will end with a performance showcasing what they have learned during the week. Students need to bring a healthy snack and comfortable attire to dance in.

Dancing Dolls Camp
Bring your favorite doll to dance with you. In this camp the dancer will learn through the use of art activities, dance, props and will also watch video clips from the classic ballet, Coppelia. Students need to bring a healthy snack and comfortable attire to dance in. Leotards are preferred but not required along with ballet shoes. Students will receive a tutu.

Tumbling Camp
- Leotards are preferred.
Ages 3-5 Tuesdays 12:00 – 1:00

Fall Classes start the week of August 17th, 2009.
Registration Days are Saturday, July 25, 2009
And August 1st, 2009.
New this Summer:
The Southern Association of Dance Masters will be
holding their yearly convention and workshop at the Franklin Mariott in Cool Springs on July 11-12, 2009.
The cost for this workshop is $130.00 and includes
14 hours of dance classes and a banquet ticket. It is for ages 8 years and up. Anyone interested in going please call or e-mail Ms. Terri. For more information you can go to www.sadm.org.
